Stable Bookkeeping & Management Solutions owner and founder, Jessica McLauchlin, grew up on a farm west of Bragg Creek, AB. It is there, where her love for the outdoors and equines flourished.

After completing high school, Jessica went on to acquire a diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management from SAIT. Upon receiving her diploma, she moved to the beautiful Rocky Mountains where she worked for Resorts of the Canadian Rockies and a major hotel chain.

In 2006, Jessica attended the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary, where she earned a Business degree majoring in Petroleum Land Management. Following University, she worked at two major oil and gas companies doing strategy and contract negotiations with industry peers, organizing campus recruitment, assisting with payroll runs and organizing internal employee lecture series.

In 2015, Jessica made the difficult decision to leave the oil and gas sector to focus on raising her children. Once her youngest entered full time school in 2024, Jessica started bookkeeping and doing payroll for various small businesses in the Cochrane area.

Now in 2025, Jessica has decided to take her vast knowledge and expertise and start her own bookkeeping and business management company. Her goal is to bring her passion for people, systems and fiscal management to the community and help local businesses thrive.

In her spare time, Jessica trains and rides horses. She currently resides in Cochrane, AB with her husband and children.
