Jessica McLauchlin, founder of Stable Bookkeeping & Management Solutions, combines over 15 years of experience in business operations, contract management, bookkeeping, payroll, and nonprofit leadership to help small businesses thrive.
Raised on an equine breeding farm west of Bragg Creek, Alberta, Jessica developed a lifelong appreciation for hard work, the outdoors, and horses. She earned a diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management from SAIT before completing a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Petroleum Land Management at the Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary.
Jessica began her career in hospitality before moving into the oil and gas industry, where she worked with major energy companies in strategy, contract negotiations, campus recruitment, payroll support, and employee engagement initiatives.
After stepping away from her corporate career to raise her family, Jessica returned to the workforce in 2024, providing bookkeeping and payroll services to small businesses throughout the Cochrane area. In 2025/2026, she served as Executive Director of a local equine-assisted learning nonprofit, where she secured the organization as one of only three charities selected for funding through the Spruce Meadows Leg Up Foundation in 2026. She also led volunteer recruitment initiatives and coordinated successful fundraising and community events.
Today, Jessica is passionate about helping entrepreneurs streamline their finances and operations so they can focus on growing their businesses. She lives in Cochrane, Alberta, with her family and continues to enjoy training and riding horses in her spare time.
